Emma's 1st friend sleepover!

Wow, they really do grow up right before your eyes! Elena went to spend the night at her Nama's house and knowing that Emma would be disappointed, we decided to let Emma invite over a friend. She was so excited! The girls really had a great time playing and getting along, like two peas in a pod. We walked to the park and while they were splashing in the puddles and tossing things in to see how big a splash they could make, then they decided that there were crocodiles in the ponds and that they needed to "run for their lives" . It really made me take a step back and realize how innocent and fun life can be when you are a child. And that as an adult and a parent, I really need to slow down and learn from them how to truly enjoy and appreciate what life has to offer and the masterpiece that He has given to us to enjoy. I don't think that there is any more rewarding job out there than being a mom! God bless my mom and all the other mom's in the world!!
P.S. The sleepover went great and they are both snoring in their sleeping bags :) Life is good!
